Inspired by icons like REM and Talk Talk, we write songs about life, love, and the world around us.
How it all began
The musical spark was ignited when Henk took bass guitar lessons from Driek. We quickly discovered that even more magic happened when we started writing our own music together. We both operate as singer-songwriters: one of us brings in a rough initial sketch, after which we work together to add color and depth, layer by layer. That is how Los Otros Sombreros was born—a tight-knit duo with a passion for melody and substance."
The debut album and the vision behind it
On November 7th, our debut album entitled "Living In A Dark Age"will be released on Spotify.
The central theme explores the mountain of worries hanging over our heads today, but always leaves room for light, love, and perspective.
Ahead of the release, we will start pitching two focus tracks to leading radio stations from early October.
